Upgrade to 2013 StandAlone from 2007

I am starting a class on Autocad 2013 and hope to upgrade to Carlson StandAlone 2013 in the next six months. Can anyone tell me what to look for on my computer to see if it will qualify for 2013. My computer is about 4-5 years old. Thanks.
