To prepare descriptions along roads, creeks, etc., I've been creating a polyline from the curves and lines, then using the edit polyline commands to change direction, then setting my origin.

Several times now, when I go to set my origin, the last segment of the polyline is deleted. Any ideas what's causing this?

Never had that to happen. FWIW, I use REVPLINE command to reverse instead of edit pline, and then PLCHGORG to set the origin.

The REVPLINE command works very well. I set a definition of "REP" for reverse polyline in my Quick Keys to save time.
The CHANGE commans gets a littly squirelly at times.
