I do not know if everyone here signed up for the email notices from Carlson or not, but here is info on a training opportunity in my area, FINALLY. These events are as scarce as hen's teeth, so you may want to look into this.


Data Collection-Civil-Survey Training
Navigation Electronics, Inc. (NEI) of Lafayette, Louisiana, Is hosting a series of day-long classes throughout the South entitled, "Carlson Software Data Flow." The 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. training, conducted with Carlson Software personnel, will bring attendees from the field to the office, to design, and back to the field. Survey equipment and data collection, office survey (getting data in from the field), civil design (design improvements) and back to the field for stakeout, are some of the topics that will be discussed. Cost is $100 per person (lunch provided). Email NEI to reserve a space or for more information. Events dates and locations follow:

A side note for you, IF you go to the July 16 seminar in Jackson, Ms, be sure to bring a few extra dollars with you. This seminar is being held at the Holiday Inn that is just down the street from Bass Pro Shop and it IS fishing season. Also across the street is the MBRAVES baseball stadium. You may want to stay and catch a ballgame by the future Atlanta Braves greats. There's also a Sam's Club down the street.
