LTSCALE going to 7, 400000, etc

How do you keep yout ltscale at 20 (or whatever)?? It seems to change
whenever a drawing is opened, commonly to 1, 7, or 400000.??

This situation sounds really strange. Is there some routine you are
running before this happens? You may need to uninstall/reinstall the
software.

funny I have the same problem, but also changes occassionally during a
drawing session. right now I correct the problen by typing LINETYPE at
command prompt, and set ltscale back to what I want (what a pain).

I use SURVEY 2007 on XP machine

I am running the same, XP Survey2007...It happens at regens, switching out
of a viewport... sometimes I don't notice when it happens... VERY
annoying..!! The more viewports, the more frequent it seems to be.

I know this is an old thread, but I was having the same issue, and I believe I have found the solution.

In Drawing Setup, change Horizontal scale to 1, and set Line Type Scaler to 0.

This seemed to solve my problem. I tested with a few save, close, and reopens.

In Settings/ Carlson Config/Drawing setup/set line type scale to .1
it only took us a week to work it out

i have the same problem.
the LTSCALE keeps going back to 25 even in different dwgs.

the LTSCALE goes to whatever
the dwg settings is SCALE + LTSCALE settings.

Why isn't the dwg holding the last LTSCALE used???

I have to remember to check the scale of the dwg im in
& reset LTSCALE every time before plotting
