3D polylines

Postby Streek » Thu Feb 13, 2014 12:54 pm

How do you draw a 3D polyline by picking points, and the polyline actually using that points elevation?

The closest I get is by point number, but this still requires an extra ENTER to except the elevation.

Is there a SNAP setting or something I am missing?

TIA.

(1) Make sure that you have the box checked to insert the points at their Z value.
(2) Under SETTINGS select "Point Object Snap On/Off".
(3) Under DRAW select Draw 3D Polykine, when the popup comes up UNCHECK "Prompt for elevations/slope".

This way you should be able to draw fron node to node with a continupus 3D poly without the bothersome elevation checks.
