Curve Table not Generating

PostPosted: Mon Feb 19, 2007 7:26 am

I just bought a new computer (Windows XP) and loaded my new version (2007)
of Carlson Survey Standalone and for some reason it won't generate the
curve table. It labels the line work with the proper curve label (i.e.
C46) but will not generate the curve table. I get an error in the command
line "bad argument type: stringp 38.3554 :error#0". The 38.3554
corresponds to the tangent value of the curve and, of course, this value
changes with each curve due to the changing tangent values.

Has anyone encountered this problem?? If so, what's the fix? My software
has performed the update check and showed that I'm up to date.

Thanks,

Wes Cole, PLS

There must be a small bug in the creation of the curve table block. I have
found that if you rearrange the Curve Options the program will reconstruct
the
curve table block. Go to the 'annotate' pull down - 'line/curve table' -
'table defaults' - and rearrange the 'curve options' in the lower left
quadrant of the dialog box. Set radius to 2 and arc length to 1 or any
change
from the default settings (this can be set back to the defaults after
rebuilding the table block). Try this and see if it works.
