Carlson rw5 Coordinate problems

I asked this question on RPLS.com a while ago, and still haven't found an
answer:

I topo-ed a site, using a control file with traverse points with assumed
elevations.

I then ran a benchmark in, and corrected my traverse point elevations in the
drawing.

I opened the rw5 file and deleted all the traverse point coordinates and
elevations.

But every time I process the file, and then use FTF - I see that the assumed
elevations were used for some of the shots instead of the elevations in the
dwg.

I then go back into the rw5, and see that some point coordinate and
elevations are still there. I know that I had deleted all of them.

I do this about 5 more times until it finally comes out right.

Anyone else have this happen? Is there any way to "fix" it?

I have also experienced a problem similar to this.

Saving changes to RW5 files does not seem to work properly.

I can delete point records out of a RW5 file, save the file, close the file, open the same file back up, and the point records have been reinserted back into the file.

I don't understand why or how the point records get back into the file.

Carlson is not honoring the changes or the saved data.

Do I have some setting in the edit/process RW5 menu that is incorrect?

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Has anyone ever found a solution or responded to the original post?
