After posting, I went back to the F2F routine again.

In the "Code Table Settings" dialog, there is an option for
"Split
Multiple Codes". Mine had "all" checked, so I checked
"none" instead.
That did the trick. All of my points came in as a single point with
the
correct symbol, description, etc.

I'm not sure why the codes were being recognized as multiple, except
that
the addition of a space and a number was freaking it out.

Calrson F2F routine uses the SPACE as a seperator to allow multiple
codes
for a single measurement and also for special codes. especially useful
to
join to different feature lines to the same point.

So the space tells carlsons there is two codes on this line, one
"oak" and
another "10". You probably don't have anything defined for
"10" so carlson
uses a default point for that.

That's exactly what was happening. Apparently when I read through the
manual, that part didn't sink in.
