Group Point Manager

I am unable to set a group by excluding a set of points. The inclusion
of points are applied first according to the instructions. If I select
to include all points then exclude some by description or range then I
get all points. If I don't select to include any points and exclude some
then I get a blank list.

Anyone with a solution or is this just another bug

Under the INCLUDE Tab un-select Include All and select Point List, then
enter your range of points (the ones you want). Then go to EXCLUDE, select
Point List and enter the points you want to, well, exclude. Be sure to
list (exclude) the points in front of and behind the ones you want to
include (Under the Include Tab)... Make sense? So far I'm not used to the
Carlson method, and I'm sure it filters better than I'm used to (Land Dev.
Desktop), but oh well. Hope this helps.

I don't even use the Exclude tab ever. I only list the Point List, or
Description keywords that I want to include and then look at the
resulting Group to see if it is what I want.

I haven't had many issues with no getting the right Lists. I don't think
you need to exclude anything explicitly. YMMV though, I running 2004 still.
