Maybe someone else has run into this. I'm trying to use the Extend by Distance tool (EXTENDER) but it's not accepting my non-numeric inputs. I can just enter a number and it will extend the line by that distance. However, if I enter "L35" to include a left jog or "T50" to set a total length, the cursor text box just turns red and nothing happens. The same happens if I type "H" or "Help". Basically it will only take number inputs and reject letter inputs. I've attached a screenshot of the error. Any help?

I ended up calling Carlson tech support. If you turn off Dynamic Input (bottom right of screen, looks like a cigarette with a plus), the tool works correctly. For some reason, the dynamic input doesn't recognize letter codes while using the EXTENDER tool. Figured I'd leave this post up if it helps someone in the future.
