Problem with template series

I am having trouble with a template series for a road design. I am
designing a 4 lane roadway with a 24' median, with 18" curb and gutter at
the median and outside edges of pavement. When I add a left turn lane, my
curb line of the median crosses the centerline. Every point that this
happens, when I process road design I get a bust in the output lines and
contours, where instead of having a transition with the curb going across
the centerline, it jumps from being fully on the right side of the
centerline to fully on the left side of the centerline. Does anyone have
any experience with a problem like this and know of a way I can fix it?
