Update CRD File From Drawing

Postby Dale E. Yawn » Wed Oct 01, 2003 4:07 am

I'm using Carlson Survey XML, and quite a few times when I use the command
to update the coordinate file from the drawing after I move or rotate some
points, it will fail to pick up the descriptions. When I repeat the command,
it picks them up, and lists them correctly. I have the defaults set to have
descriptions turned on, and I always use the asterisk to tell it to pick up
all the descriptions. All the descriptions appear on screen in the point
blocks, but it will not write them to the CRD file unless I do it twice. Any
ideas why this happens? I will be the first to admit that this may be
operator error, but I'm stumped. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks,

Hi Dale:

This was happening to me all the time. And then when we upgraded, it went
away. Do you have the latest version? I think that is your problem. It
might have been a flaw in the prior version. Hope that helps.
