lisp routines (again)

Postby Brandon Newsom » Thu Apr 08, 2004 8:31 pm

There is a list of file extensions near the beginning of the reference
manual for Carlson Survey (pgs 17 and 18 to be exact). The file extension
".lsp" is named as a "Carlson Survey CES File Type. I'm thinking there must
be a way to utilized this type of file. Many thanks.

Applicable for AutoCAD R14 OEM, when .LSP files were still used.

A) The only (non-internal) method available for loading ..LSP/.FAS/.ARX/.DLL files is drag/drop from Windows Explorer. It doesn't work in AutoCAD OEM.

B) Routines for AutoCAD OEM are compiled using a 'key code'. Each developer has a unique key code that binds routines compiled with such to that particular OEM application.

You might be able to automate this program via Windows API, but that probably is a violation of the EULA.
