What do you put in front or behind a sting of text to make it underlined?

In addition to Brian's answer, if you're using MTEXT, the method is:

\L to begin underlining
\l to end
(case sensitive)

Example:

\LUnderline this text\l, but not this.

If it's MTEXT, there is an underline button at the top.

Anyone know an easy way to convert a group of DTEXT to MTEXT. (I know how
to do it line by line).

I'm new to this site. I just realised that the original post was back in
April.

I'll check out that routine. Thanks.

This group gets posts from people using Carlson Survey (the standalone)
and from people using SurvCADD Cogo/Design to do Survey work. If your
running Carlson Survey (the standalone) you can't add any routines.
