Anybody know how to get the ribbon turned on?

I just upgraded to Carlson 2010. I'm also running Civil3d 2010. I've become accustomed to the ribbon and like it. When I loaded Carlson 2010, the ribbon of course was not there...I typed in "Ribbon" to turn it on and all the panels are missing.

I've tried messing around with the Profiles but can't get it to work...

I can either go to the Civil3d profile and not have the Carlson menus (don't care if it's in ribbons or not)....or I can have the Carlson menus without ribbons. I'd really like to have both.

Any ideas? Thanks!

At the moment, I don't recall the exact steps I took, but one needs to learn how to customize the CUI.

If you are not familiar with this procedure, read up about it (there are a lot of resources on the internet. I highly recomend papers done by Robert Bell). It is not hard to screw everything up if you are not careful.

My recollection is that: after installing Carlson, I loaded the ribbon and it was empty. So, I then customized the ribbon by adding the desired panels in my own custom workspace.
