Can someone please post a patch or the way to stop the LTScale from automatically setting to whatever is in the drawing setup. This is killing our productivity on projects that were created in the past. We use an LTScale of 1 on all drawings due to having different scaled sheets in a set. So even on details it's setting it to 25 when we've never used anything other than 1. PLEASE HELP!

Try:

Settings>Carlson Configure>Drawing Setup...>

then change the Line Type Scaler to 0.
Click OK
Select Current & Future
Then Exit

That might maintain your ltscale in the drawing? Not sure if that will work, but it's worth a shot.

Many, many thanks.

careful, that works fine for new dwgs but for existing ones where the dwg setup scale had already been established it still changes the lt scale.

Still awaiting something from the Carlson guys on this. It really needs to be fixed. We should have the choice to have it follow it or not...

turning it off???

This has been fixed in the latest build of the software. The build date is the same but the fix is in there. You'll need to make the change in Settings>Drawing Setup for it to hold. Typing LTSCALE at the commandline will not hold. 2011 will address this with an option to allow this.
