Edit Field codes with Carlson Civil product only

I am looking to create or edit a previous .fld file to match field codes we recieve from surveyors. The intent is to sort the points on layers by point code descriptions. With the Civil Design product only, no survey, how can I edit a .fld file? Or is there another way to accomplish this task?

In field to Finish you can edit the existing fld file in the second screen . Or you can create a fld from the crd file the field surveyors are using. You have the option of appending the new codes or creating a new fld.

How do I get to the field to finish dialog box with out the survey menu? I only have the Civil product?

You need Carlson Survey
