Profile looks chunky

Carlson Civil 2021 in Autocad 2020

So I had a profile cause a crash. when I reopened my drawing I got a popup saying my profile had crashed, do you want to use OpenGL rendering... so I said yes. Now my profile looks very pixelated and my vertical curves are gone. When I try to recreate the profile again, the new version looks the same and gives incorrect elevation data, so it's not just a display thing.

Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this?

Replying to myself to share the answer to my problem. I got the following message from Carlson Support:

"Go to Settings-> Carlson Config-> General Settings and set "Use Software Render" to OFF. On occasion, I've seen where this had to be turned OFF, then ON and OFF again for it to clear."

Whatever you may think about turning it off and then on again, this absolutely worked.
