Current Layer Points and annotation

Is there anyway to set survcadd xml so points and annotation go to the
current layer?

Wherever you specify the layer (such as in Point Defaults), use the string
"CLAYER". More info can be found in SurvCADD online help under Introduction
| Layer and Style Defaults.
