Can I print a symbol list?

Postby James Redmon » Sat Jul 19, 2003 12:04 am

Our company just went to ACAD 2004 and XML2 and I have a couple of
questions.
1.) Is there a way to print the symbols that are stored in ACAD? We could
then sit down and assign them to the codes rather than trying to remember
which we have already used.
2.) Is there somewhere I can get additional symbols? Or make my own. We had
a number of custom blocks created in Softdesk 8.

Carlson sells a low cost general purpose add-on called ToolPac 7.0
http://www.carlsonsw.com/toolpac.htm. In the Block section take a look
at the Catalog generator. It will build a ready to plot/print drawing
containing the symbols. You can choose various layouts like 9 col x12
rows, etc.

There are a couple of CAD websites that contains a lot of symbols. Take
a look at cadalog.com, caddepot.com, etc.
