XML 2

I have noticed in several postings lately, references to the use of SurvCADD
XML Version 2. Did I miss the announcement? Has XML-2 been released?
What's my motivation is this scene?

XML2 started shiping the middle part of July.....dont feel bad, we have not
recieved our yet either. hopefully in the next week or so.
