Open Job Window View

I have the same problem Joe has, but unfortunately no one has responded to
his request yet...

Is there some way to get all of the "open drawing file" pop up windows to be
in the list details format instead of the large icons???

I finally upgraded to windows xp, but I have something now that really bugs
me and I hope someone can help me out. When I start my survcadd and go to
file, open job, all of the jobs come up with big icons... I would like them
to be in a list format. When I go to "views" and change to list, that is
how I want it to be, yet it always goes back to the big fonts for the
drawings. Is there a way to change this so they always come up in a list
format? Any help would be appreciated.

I hope so. Few things are worse in windows than those huge
icons staring at you.

I've had Windows XP for a long time and had no problem with XML or XML2.
Have you tried just right-clicking in the file window (after File -> Open)
and selecting View -> List? This seemed to work for me.

Yes you can change it to list view, but it always goes back to the big
icons.

I have heard from someone else it is a glitch with xp and acad 2000 and
there is no fix for this... But I find this hard to belive. Hopefully
someone will know a fix.

AH, this could be the problem, as I have AutoCAD 2002, not 2000. If that is
the case, I'm sure that the AutoCAD people are to blame (easy scapegoat).

I've set all my folders to the 'details' view and subsequently the
application windows show files in a list with small icons. When you open a
window, set the view to DETAILS, then click TOOLS and then FOLDER OPTIONS.
Click VIEW and then click APPLY TO ALL FOLDERS. This has worked for me,
running XP. I'm with you and don't like the large icons. HTH
