Define "loosing toolbars"?
Toolbar location and visibility is stored in the registry, separate from the working profile.

They are visually gone but if I load my profile and set it to current it
resets everything back to the way I want it so I was trying to go into
config_scad and under the general settings tab put in a switch for the extra
acad switches that loads my profile this is what I've been using: /p
"c:\profile.arg" and it does not seem to work. This same switch works for
Acad though.

I'm pretty sure it ignores profile switches because it always loads the SurvCADD profile (actual profile name depends on the version). Why not just add your toolbars to the SurvCADD profile?

I mis-spoke earlier. Toolbar location and visibility is in the registry like I said, but each profile *does* have it's own settings.

For example, with SurvCADD XML, they are stored here:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R15.0\ACAD-xxx:xxx\Profiles\SurvCADDXML\Toolbars\
