installing survcadd 2006

Hello:

I have recently installed ACADMap 2006 and it went in perfectly. I then
installed Survcadd 2006 and it went in ok. But when I go to register it, it
will not register online. So I called Carlson and was asked for all the
information that the sheet prints out. What was missing was the disk id.
The lady at Carlson says she has no idea how to take care of this and the
guy that might know how to do it, is on vacation all this week.

Does anyone know how to get a disk signature? That is what is missing and
now allowing me to register.

The other thing is that my hard drive is G and so I am installing in on
drive G, which I don't believe should make a difference. Thanks in advance.

I found the problem. My main drive was "G" and I had a backup drive which
was "K" and I did not have a drive "c". When I changed "K" to "C", it did
install. It does seem to run a little slower (the new acadmap 2006 and
survcadd 2006), but at least it is now installed.

Any ideas on how to speed it all up? It takes almost 45 seconds to load the
program when I start it up.
