dwg file to pdf file

Postby Joe Bishop » Fri Oct 07, 2005 9:45 pm

Using ACADMap 2006 along with survcadd and wondering if there is an
expensive way to convert dwg files to pdf w/out having to buy adobe acrobat.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Assuming you meant 'inexpensive' way, try the free pdf995 printer driver.
Has pop-up ads but is very effective.

Joe,

Yes get pdf995,but pay the small fee to register it. Gets rid of the
pop-up ads and doesn't look for an internet connection when you make a
PDF file.

Use mine all the time when sending drawings out for comment and or approval.

We use Bluebeam software (www.bluebeam.com). You can download a 30 day trial
version. You can visit their website, but I've posted some of the prices:
1-4 $249
5-9 $159
10-24 $119

I like it. It even does large format sizes.
