Watershed Polyline fails

Postby Warren S » Thu Mar 16, 2006 10:25 pm

I'm new to the hydrology world of CADD. Trying to run the Multiple
Watershed Polylines command. The error I get is "Unhandled Exception
C0000005 (Access Violation Reading 0x001e) at address 1F73BF78h". I
suspect the grid I have selected is too small or the elevations don't
very enough to make the calculations? I can overcome this by going much
bigger with the grid, but then my goal of getting the Runoff CN and
Runoff report of the sink will be grossly out of proportion.

On the command line:
Command: waterdeli
Reading cell> 2601
Processed 5000 nodes, Depth 16
44 local sinks are located.
ADS request error :error#0

Ideally I would love to be able to select a predefined boundary of the
grid in any of my reports because it's tough at times to be restricted
to a rectangular area. We tend to stop at the face of a dam and they
are not always perpendicular with the rectangular selection we are
limited to.

Another problem I'm seeing is when running a watershed report multiple
times redefining the grid slightly will greatly effect the watershed
polylines and often don't mesh/correlate with overlapping grid areas.
Maybe someone could clarify why that is.

Thanks,
