CPU usage of Carlson Survey 2007

Postby SuperSurveyor » Sun Jan 28, 2007 4:20 pm

Hi everybody,

I have a questione regarding multi processor support in AutoCad Carlson
Survey 2007. When I´m creating .CRD layer of my field work, AutoCad.exe
never uses more than 50% of my CPU power. I have been searching for a
solution but with no luck. I am running a DELL D820 machine with Intel
T2400@1.83GHz and 2.00GB of RAM on WinXP Pro w. service pack 2. cheers to
all you fellow surveyors out there : )

SuperSurveyor,

Sounds like you have a very powerful computer. Have you run this routine
on
another computer where it uses 100% of the processor? You may check to see
if
there is another program running using some of the computers resources
(eg. an
antivirus software). I don't think there is anyway to have the processor
do
more work then what AutoCAD is asking it to do during this process.
