No Object Point select in 2009

One of the very additions in recent versions was Object Point Select for selecting crd points. I would use this option 75% of the time. The window which popped up would confirm the point number and many other details. It seems this has been omitted in the Intellicad version. Please bring it back urgently.

Currently I cannot get the snap entity to work without the snap to grid and it is very unclear how to select the crd point . I have tried so many of the options and I cannot find any help in the manual

Hopefully point object sanp will return but for now try right click on ESNAP at bottom of screen, check on point and uncheck the rest. this should allow it to snap to the points on the screen.
