After Carson update Draw-Locate Points error

After this thing updated itself last week, whenever I go to:

Draw-Locate Points
Draw All

I get the following error message:

Warning: Symbol 'C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\OWNER\APPLICATION DATA\CARLSON\SOFTWARE\CARLSON2008\R16.2\SUP\.DWG' does not exist.

It pukes that error regardless of the symbol selected. And yes, the symbol does exist in the directory it is looking for it in.

What gives? it seems like it is not properly inserting a variable name since it is looking for ".dwg" and not "spt10.dwg"

In point defaults do you have any of the use field to finish boxes checked on, particularly for symbols? What combination of the software are you running, acad?
