Seam loss

Postby Michael Ricci » Wed Feb 13, 2002 2:17 am

Is there a way within the MTNtop routine to instead of assigning a recovery
factor (or gridding a recovery factor) to input a constant seam loss. For
example, maybe we have a hard ss on top of a soft coal in a contour cut. We
think we will consistently lose the top 3" of coal. Is there an easy way to
input that loss. The routine lets me add burden to key, but not key to
burden. I tried to use a negative number in the "non-key thk to add to key"
but I could fool it. For now I am having to generate a fake bottom of
burden grid, but don't like to use grids that don't represent a real
feature.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
