SurvCad XML Rocks

I have just been playing with the new release for an hour or so, and will
now have to return to getting some work done. Yet, I do wish to
congradulate Carlson on the upgraded product.
Awesome!
So often in these forums we only see the complaints or buggy side of things.
I am especially excited about the new 3d routines. Specifically; edit and
add polyline vertex, Elevate 2d Polylines (shouldn't this be in DTM module
though?), 2d to 3d by start/end elevations, triangulation improvements, and
3d poly w/arcs.
I have still been hanging on to the previous civil software(that has been
discontinued) that I used for site grading and dtm work. With the routines
just mentioned, SurvCadd may have caught up in this area. The only
difference I can now think of is dynamic TIN editing (one can swap TIN edges
and see the effects on contours immediately on the screen, or interactively
add break lines etc.)
I am confident that SurvCadd XML will allow us increase production as well
as the quality of our work.
Thanks!
