Okay, I finally got my update and installed it. Things I already love:
draw 3d lines specifying beginning and ending elevations
can save queries in the polygon processor query routine
can make polygon processing data into ADE data
control the order of strata in adv mining (haven't use yet, but will)

Questions that remain:
will there be any further efforts in a batch utility for grids in adv
mining?

Newest question:
Using that newest flyout routine, I feel like I am as smart as Steve Weber.
Is there anyway that my flight can be saved to an avi or mpeg so that
someone without AutoCAD and SurvCADD (several clients) can see just how
smart I am?

GFU now allows to apply the same command to a set of grids. In that

mode there is no macro recording though. Not sure about future features
planned though.

How about using one of many available screen-to-movie capture

programs which will produce AVI for you?

There, are some video recorders out there, that will basically copy anything
that comes across your display, and save it to an AVI file. Go to
www.google.com and type "screen video capture"

The gfu routines that allow for the insertion of grid file names is not the
same. With ALL large mine gridding projects, I tend to go through a large
number of step to reach an acceptable model. With the old batch routine
(see, I did mention any other program names) the program could gather all
grid files, determine the required order to recreate each. Then, if you
selected any one grid that needed to be changed, all affected resulting
grids could automatically be selected and rerun. Please see if Steve Weber
still has a working copy to show this routine. The next time we are
together I would like to show you one of my typical projects so that you can
see the incredible value of a batch routine. The grid history appears to be
a good start.

Thanks Dave. I downloaded one of the freeware recorders and made my first
avi of a regrade plan for a clay mine.
