Curve lable doesn't update?

Postby Dave C. » Tue Aug 27, 2002 9:26 pm

Why won't my curve labels update reactively? I've turned on all the
reactors that I can find? Also how do I redraw the curve table from the
information in the drawing? If I exit the drawing and come back in, XML
wants to start at "C1". Why doesn't it know that there are already labeled
curves in the drawing and what the next curve number is? If I accidentally
erase the table, do I have to re-label the entire drawing?

Help.

Dave,

The curve labels have never been designed to update automatically. In Configure SurvCADD, the setting "Link Labels with Linework" only applies to bearing/distance annotation (documented on page 2-7 of the XML manual).

As for the drawing remembering it's last curve table number, It really should do this -- I will add this to our wish list.

Unfortunately, the curve table cannot be recreated if it is erased. There is no information "stored" in the drawing. It is generated at the moment the curve data is generated.
