Has anyone found out how to access the old commands to save and restore a
layer state without using the keyboard? I can use "savelay" and "restlay"
but I would like to use the menu bar under "View" the way it was.

Under the AutoCAD Layer Dialog, you now have the ability to save and
restore layer states.
