Overwriting point numbers

I'm a new user, (SurvCaddXML), and can't find a way in the manual to
overwrite individual point numbers after accidentally entering wrong data,
such as a distance to a sideshot, etc... Is there any way to do that
without having to reset/reconfiguring the new highest point settings?

Uncheck Automatic Point Numbering under Point Number Settings
