pad with multiple elevations

Hello all,

I am trying to create a polyline with multiple elevations within. For
example, the two north corners of a pad would be one elevation, and the
south two corners would be a second elevation. Is there a way to do this?
Do I have to create points and then connect the points to make a pad? Any
helps is appreciated!

DTM-Contour Module->3Dpoly->Draw 3D Polyline
Prompt for elevations[Yes/<No>]?Y and Enter
Use surface model from file [Yes/<No>]?N and Enter
Pick point or point number and elevations as you want.

Thanks Nava! This is exactly what I was looking for... however, as soon as
I create the 3d polyline, it disappears. I'm sure that it's something
simple that I'm missing. Any ideas why it might be doing this?

Ok, so after a little investigation, the 3d Polylines do appear, but they
show up very far away from the spot where I created them. Has anyone had a
similar problem with 3d polylines or points?

Your UCS is not set to World. Most SurvCADD command require that the UCS be set to world.

To correct, enter the command UCS and press <Enter> twice, then enter the command PLAN and press <Enter> twice again.
