2d Polylines

All of a sudden, I'm having a problem with drawings crashing. It happens
when I'm using the 2d polyline command, although not every time I use it. I
get an Autocad error message saying it can't continue, but will save
everything up to the last command. It then closes SurvCadd/AutoCadd. When
I bring it back up, it says I need to recover the drawing, but the drawing
does not recover. I'm running XML. Any ideas?

What AutoCAD version?
Latest service packs applied?
Latest display card drivers installed?
Anything change recently, like updated AutoCAD, new hard drive, etc?

Never allow AutoCAD to "save up to the last command". There is a very good chance it will write corrupt data to the file. Always answer NO to that question.
