Problems with New SurvCADD XML upgrade

Hello all,

I'm not sure if only our office is affected by this problem, but it is a
horrible one. We all just upgraded to the newest version of SurvCADD XML,
and now the command "CLIPLINE" no longer works. Instead of actually
clipping the line, the computer will hang for a period of time. We have no
option but to manually shut down our program/computer.

Unfortunately, we have to re-install SurvCADD with the original disks.

Can anyone offer a solution to this problem?

Does this happen only with a certain drawing?
Only on a certain polyline?
Can you start a new empty drawing, create a closed polyline, and a few crossing entities and repeat the error?

All of our machines here have had the update installed since January and this command works OK.

I've noticed that this does only seem to happen with one drawing. The
drawing, however, worked without a hitch before the upgrade. I have since
reverted back to the original install, and it still has the same problem.
Is it possible for the upgrade to screw up a drawing like that?

Thanks!

Randy,

We've managed to finish the job, so I dont' want to waste anyone's time by
sending you the drawing, unless you really want to check it out. If this
happens again, I'll be sure to start the thread again.
