Anyone experienced with metric DTM conversions?

Hello all,
Anyone care to share their experience with converting a terrain model from
metric to english? I don't see a way to do this except for the long and
tedious task of creating new points from entities, use the scale points
command and then redraw the TIN "by hand". Any ideas?
Thanks, and a great ng, btw.
