Am I missing something? I am trying to create offset points (actually zero
offset) with the elevation of centerline. I made a 3D polyline from the
profile, and am selecting it when the dialog asks for the elevation
reference polyline, but all points come out at Z=0.00.

In the initial dialog, be sure to check ON the toggle for "Use Reference 3D
Polyline for Elevations"
