Entering deed descriptions

Postby James Redmon » Tue Jul 22, 2003 5:53 pm

I just entered a deed description and noticed that after I got out of the
command and went back in all of my bearings were rounded to the nearest
degree. I looked at the angles in Autocad and it is drawing them to the
nearest degree also. I need it drawn to the second. Is there a toggle that
I might have switched on or what is happening?

Carlson uses the current settings for linear and angular units when placing
annotation. I made a toolbar with buttons that change the precision of the
units and use them before annotating line work. Because generally I like 3
decimal places while I'm working, then label the boundary and easements with
2 decimals and building dimensions with 1 decimal, I got real tired of have
to go back and changing the units or I would forget and have to redo the
annotation. I'm one of those people that if I have to do the same thing
more than 3 or 4 times in a day, I just want to hit a button and have it
done.
