SMI Data Transfer

Postby Steve Murphy » Mon Nov 03, 2003 10:50 pm

I am trying to import data directly from SMI (in a HP-48) to Survcad and
each sucessive write is overwriting the existing SMI RAW file. I want to
append to the existing file but cannot find a command to do this.
Any suggestions?

You will have to give each new raw data file a different name, then append
the file later. FYI...I usually add on the date the field work was
performed to the file name and don't see any need to append them.
