What SurvCADD version? I have imported over 1,000,000 before in CES, I don't think anything has changed regarding this.

Note that "Numeric" CRD file type is limited to ±32,767, but "Alphanumeric" CRD file type should accept up to 999,999,999

I'm doing some research to figure this out as well... hence I found this
thread to respond with.

I'm using the latest SurvCADD 2006 with Map 2D 2006.

I have converted two DEM's to XYZ files and attempt to bring them in.
Normally I set the protect points box but this tries to number the
points but gets into a bit of a quagmire that route. So I un-check the
protect points and allows me to import. I get confirmation that 153,180
and 153,167 point sets have been imported. Problem is when I draw the
points... only 99,999 are drawn. To deleting them from the CRD file and
it says 99999 points erased.

What to do?

Appreciate your help,

For the record... I figured this out! In the Configure SurvCADD >
General Settings window, under the CRD File Pt# Format... I chose LDT
Points.mdb format. I realize this isn't the only format that has no
limits, but it's the only one I've tried so far and it brought in my
306,347 points.

From SurvCADD Help:
SurvCADD Numeric: This is the default format upon installation. Point
numbers cannot contain letters and must be in the range from 1 to 32767.
SurvCADD Alphanumeric: This native SurvCADD format allows letters in the
point numbers, and the point name can be up to 10 characters. Any
combination of letters and numbers is acceptable.
C&G Numeric: This format of the C&G division supports up to 5 digits,
with a 65000 point limit.
C&G Alphanumeric: This format of the C&G division supports up to 10
characters, with no limit to the number of points.
Simplicity ZAK: This is the Simplicity Systems coordinate file format.

LDT Points.mdb: This is a Microsoft Access database used by Autodesk
Land Desktop. The file is typically named “points.mdb” and is found in
a projects \Cogo directory. The number limitation is established by the
database structure, but is frequently numeric and allows unlimited point
numbers. This is a Microsoft Access database used by Autodesk Land
