Stephen,
If you open a profile file with Notepad you will see that it is a simple
comma delimited ASCII file. You can open both profiles with a spreadsheet,
do the subtraction and write the results back out to a comma delimited ASCII
file using the same format. Change the file extension to ".pro" and you
have your profile file containing the differentials.

Terry,
Is it possible to write an elevation difference between 2 .PRO files to
another .PRO?

is there any way to have survcadd label the depth difference between 2
profiles
like it labels the station/elevation?

The "Horizontal Axis Elevations" routine has "Elevation Difference
Options"
at the bottom of the dialog.
