I get this error message when I try to create a curve table by picking this
line or selecting the ends and radius. What is this?

Each 'line' in a line/curve table is a block with attributes.
The subject error message indicates that a entity was found that wasn't correctly terminated.
Most likely the table block entity, since this occurs when creating a table.

-----------------
Go into Table Defaults, change the sequence options, and exit.
The block definition will be rebuilt
Go back and set the sequence options to the way you want them.
Try again.

What version are you running?
I'm surprised this problem still exists, it has been a known problem for years.
