Slope Lisp Routine

Does anyone know of either a built in Survcadd function or a lisp routine
that will allow me to label slopes of 2d ploylines?

IE: Labeling the slope of a driveway entrance by picking 2 endpoints of a
2d polyline or 2 nodes with z values.

Thanks in advance for any help

Just for clarification, a 2D Polyline cannot have a slope, it's vertices
will all have the same elevation.

A 3D Polyline or a LINE can have different endpoint (or vertex) elevations.

I meant to say line or nodes. Have you heard of anything that will do
what I'm looking for? I know Dotsoft's toolpac has a slope labeling tool
but I really don't need the entire package. I'm surprised Survcadd doesn't
have this as an option. It's not hidden in there somewhere is it? I'm new to
survcadd and have not found any documentation on it.

Thanks for any help

Unfortunately, I have not been a daily user for some time now, so I
don't remember if there is something like that in there. I would just
call Barkley or Lon in support [800-989-5028] and ask them.

Jason,

I could not find the routing in Survcadd. As you said, Toolpac does have
that functionality. I am not affilitated in any way, but I'll say that
Toolpac is one of the best
CAD investments I can imagine. I didn't think I needed more of the package
than what I originally bought it for, but have found incredible time savings
the more I use it.

you might put this up on the ACAD "Customization" discussion group. Sounds
like a lisp routine could easily be written to do this task, and somebody
most likely has already written it. That newsgroup would be the place to
find it.......
