VL namespace error

I intermittenly receive an error message "INTERNAL ERROR: VL namespace
mismatch type 'y' to continue"
when starting or opening a drawing file from within Survcadd XML R2. Typing
"y" does let the session continue, but disables a separate Lisp file
containing many drafting tools. Is there a fix to this problem other than
not using the Lisp routines?
