Enter Deed description Default layer

Is there a way to permantly change the Enter deed description layer to
something different besides deed.?

James, this works in Survey 2006 by changing the layer name and then
saving as the survey.dwt (template) file. From that time on my setting
has remained.

Barkley, is there a setting in the INI files somewhere? I looked but did not
spot it anywhere. Where does it store the layer name when you change it in
the drawing?
