Image flie applied to Grid file

Is there a way to give an image 3d properties based on a grid file.
Basicaly I want to render the grid file with and arieal image.

In ArcMap (an ESRI program) you can force the grid image under the aerial
image, then make the aerial image slightly transparent. Thus creating the
"look" of a draped image. Perhaps you can do something similiar in AutoCad.
However as far as I know, AutoCad will only make specified colors
transparent.

Sounds like you want to be able to view the grid from a perspective view.
Let us know if you get it figured out. I think LDD 2005 has a tool for doing
something like what you are proposing, but it will only print the view, not
save the rendering. I only saw this feature in a demo and have not even
looked for it in LDD2006. JRL
