Help Manuals-Hardcopy & online

I see the SurvCadd 2006 manuals appear to be finished and available from the
download center.

I was under the impression that hardcopy manuals would be shipped out.
Multiple licenses would get 1 set of books, additional manuals would be
extra $$.

We have not received our hardcopy manuals yet. Have they been shipped and we
fell through the cracks?

Also I thought once the help files were completed, they would be
incorporated into the program. I am still getting the little red x when I
click on the help button during certain routines. In XML2, when you clicked
on the help button during a routine it would take you directly to the help
item pertaining to the task at hand. It was very helpful.

The help item I tried last was under DESIGN>LOCATE TEMPLATE POINTS

The online help manual has a section for this routine, it just doesn't take
you directly to it.

I too was suprised when I tried to get survcadd help that nothing appeared.
Is there a help file?\

Also, I am interested when we will be getting the books to go with the new
survcadd.

The manual is at the printer now. It will be a few weeks, probably. Then we
will ship them out.

The on-line help is the chm file. It can be downloaded from the webpage
under Support -> Manuals.

This downloaded .chm file should be copied to the Scad SUP folder. This file
is also included in

the current and future install CD's.

With regards any problems with getting the Help information to appear in its
entirely, and in detail, while working in SurvCADD, please see our Knowledge
Base (found on our web support page) and look for information on this "Help"
issue. It is Topic 321, found under SurvCADD 2006.

It has been a few months and I have not recieved the hard copy manuals.
Not trying to be a pain in the rear, but manuals can contain little
overviews and helpful hints that are worth sitting down and reading one
night after dinner. Online help is not very good for that.

SQUEEK....Thanks, Jeremy
